Activities and purpose

The project

Through the three following priorities, PROMOS aims to promote the Italian-Austrian biomedical ecosystem and the creation of new biomedical SMEs through cross-border technology transfer from academia to the market and clinics:

• Establishing university-industry collaboration and comparing regulations in the two countries to facilitate the implementation of innovative solutions and the exchange of best practices
• A training program to help researchers translate their results into real products and strengthen the culture of technology transfer in research centers
• A cross-border alliance with SMEs, innovation clusters, universities, and research institutes to increase the exploitation of results.
