Activities and purpose

The project

The NO WASTE project is intended to encourage people to reduce their waste and adopt a sustainable lifestyle. To make the content of the NO WASTE project better understood, the partners have established a tour route through the supra-regional area. Biodiversity, environmental and cultural resources, and also reduced and alternative consumption methods are the central themes of the tour. Flax, hemp and nettle plants are great examples of NO WASTE because they have the advantage of growing on all soils, even the poorest, and without the use of pesticides. They are also essential for the production of many consumer goods such as paper, textiles, food and cosmetics. Young generations are tomorrow’s leaders, which is why NO WASTE is also working with schools.
