The project

Mobility for Future is being carried out in cooperation with Klimabündnis Tirol, STA AG, and Regional Management LAG Pustertal. Over the course of the two-year project, offers will be developed for all school levels in order to integrate the topics of sustainable mobility, climate change, and climate change adaptation into everyday school life.

The school workshops and offers developed and implemented as part of the project will raise awareness of climate change, provide tools for adapting to it, and encourage changes in behavior. In the course of the project, a networking platform will also be set up to invite students, teachers, and community representatives to a cross-border exchange between the two project regions.

The fundamental cross-border participatory approach of the project creates space for encounters at eye level with decision-makers and is intended to motivate students to help shape the mobility of the future themselves. A focus is also placed on important “soft skills” such as decision-making skills and resilience.
