Activities and purpose

The project

The INTERREG project INDIALPS deals with the current cross-border challenges in the Alpine-Adriatic region and pursues the goal of developing these further in a long-term and innovative manner. New cross-border offers are to be created within the framework of three thematic areas, which are in harmony with both tourism objectives and nature conservation.

Analysis – This work package analyzes the visitor flows in the Dobratsch and Prealpi Giulie Nature Parks and is intended to provide information on hot and low spots in the two parks in order to improve the management of the parks.
Exchange – Active awareness-raising measures to increase appreciation for nature, linguistic diversity, culture, and peace and to promote the preservation of the unique border region in terms of sustainability.
Action – A total of four joint pilot actions on the topics of sustainable mobility, youth, sustainable tourism, and nature conservation will put the findings from the analyses directly into practice.
