Activities and purpose

The project

The EUMINT project promotes cross-border cooperation between Italy and Austria in the autonomous provinces of Bolzano and Trento, as well as in the regions of Tyrol, Carinthia, and Friuli-Venezia Giulia, in response to the social, economic, political, and cultural phenomenon of migration. The partners are committed to addressing the inequalities and poverty of migrants and asylum seekers afflicted in the region. EUMINT is based on a policy of civic integration and cooperation of local, regional, and intranational institutions. It strives to promote integration processes and greater social cohesion in the participating regions. In particular, EUMINT has organized language courses, job market counseling for professionals, and professional training courses.
