Activities and purpose

The project

EMY is a project involving museums and territories in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto and Tyrol, aiming to enhance cross-border cultural heritage as a driver for tourism, economic and social development. At the heart of the project are young people, especially Generation Z, and a new way of experiencing culture: experiential, digital, creative and closely connected to the landscape. Through concrete actions supporting slow mobility, tourism de-seasonalisation, and a Cross-border Learning Experience between Maniago, Montebelluna and Tyrol, EMY looks to the future of cultural tourism, promoting a sustainable, inclusive and participatory model that strengthens connections between local communities, young people and cross-border regions.
