What does democracy mean to me?

Activities and purpose

The project

The cross-border project “What does democracy mean to me?” from the previous Dolomiti Live programming was such a success that stakeholders and political representatives expressed the desire to continue and deepen it. In the face of growing political discontent – affecting all age groups – and the perception of an increasing distance from institutions, the project intends to strengthen trust and participation. The goal is to motivate young people to approach politics, public administration, and social issues by providing them with tools and skills to form an autonomous and informed opinion, also learning to recognize possible manipulations. The three project partners targeted children, adolescents, and young adults – from primary school to university – through various activity formats. Furthermore, a digital document was created that offers an overview of the entire journey: from the initial situation to the final results.
