Activities and purpose

The project

This small-scale project, which took place in the Dolomites Live region, aims to combat sexual discrimination and violence against women. Sexual assaults are happening at any given time and place, too many and on both sides of the border. The Stop Violence and Gender Inequality project is a cooperation between the East Tyrol Women’s Center, Belluno Donna Anti-Violence Center, and the Women’s Housing Service of the Pustertal Valley District Community. Together they seek to raise awareness about the deplorable situation and to break the silence around the issue which leaves victims and violence in a vicious cycle.
