Activities and purpose

The project

The two secondary schools in the HEurOpen area aim to reactivate and deepen their previous contacts. The goal is to build professional and personal relationships between students (aged 16-17) and teachers. The project promotes awareness of the neighboring country and facilitates cultural, linguistic, and sporting exchanges. Key priorities include improving language skills (German/Italian) and actively engaging with the region’s culture, nature, and culinary heritage. A 5-day program features guided tours, excursions, sports, and team competitions. By exploring their shared heritage, participants will overcome mental barriers and foster a sense of community within the border region.
