Activities and purpose

The project

The project is a follow-up to the medium Interreg project “Horizon” and is dedicated to supporting children and young people from difficult backgrounds. In the Landeck district, “learning cafés” will be offered to provide scholastic support and, at the same time, allow for exchange between families and schools, as well as the involvement of volunteers. To complement the offer, experiential pedagogical activities will be proposed for children and adolescents, also within the framework of cross-border collaboration. In Val Venosta, a training course on basic skills in the social sector will be organized for those coming from other fields; furthermore, a continuous training cycle for support persons is planned. The deepening of “Open Dialogue” training, cross-border exchange, and continuous joint training of the partners (Caritas Tyrol, Val Venosta District Community, associated partner Regiun Engiadina Bassa Val Müstair) are further central measures of the project.
