The route between Marienberg and Galtür

In the small-scale Interreg Italy-Austria project, carried out by the CLLD Terra Raetica area, the historical connection route between the Marienberg Monastery and Galtür is being filmed.

During the exploration of this historical route, a documentary and 7 short films were shot. The themes addressed include history, religion, and various related impressions. The aim of the project is to strengthen awareness of common historical circumstances, the development of the valleys, and the belonging of the area. The short films will be integrated into a collective exhibition during the Euregio Museum Year 2025 in Marienberg and Galtür and will be broadcast on television. They illustrate the topographical path of the ancient trade and transport route and, like the entire Euregio Museum Year 2025, invite the overcoming of borders.
