Programme Trainees
From July 2024 we welcome an IVY Volunteer and several interns in our Interreg VI-A Italy-Austria Programme!
The Joint Secretariat of the Interreg Italy-Austria Programme welcomes our IVY Volunteer, Olga Abbiani, who will work with us from 8 July until the end of November 2024.
IVY stands for “Interreg Volunteer Youth”, an initiative of the European Commission managed by the AEBR (Association of European Border Regions) to involve young people aged between 18 and 30 in a volunteering opportunity of programmes under the European Territorial Cooperation, better known as Interreg. As an IVY volunteer, she will help us in the investigation of the future of our Interreg programme and carry out the following activities:
- Supporting the development of the consultation plan: The Post2027 survey for citizens and beneficiaries will be a main task;
- Identification of key stakeholders and target groups;
- Consultation;
- Stakeholder engagement: Prepare consultation material, contact stakeholders, also at local level, and obtain their input;
- Evaluation of contributions, analysis of results.
More trainees will join our team in the summer: Davide Goldner and Simon Donà, whom we warmly welcome! Davide will work with us from 1 July to 13 September, Simon from 8 July to 23 August. They will be employed by the Autonomous Province of Bolzano. As the Managing Authority and the Joint Secretariat of our programme are located at the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, there is also the opportunity for students to apply for a summer internship in order to familiarise themselves with the world of work in general and with daily working life in the provincial administration in particular. The interns will assist us with various tasks, in particular project evaluation and communication.
