EUSALP Energy Award 2026
From innovation to real impact. With the EUSALP Energy Award 2026, the Alpine macro‑regional strategy rewards initiatives that transform technological, organisational and market‑based innovation into tangible benefits for Alpine territories.
The energy transition represents one of the most decisive challenges for the future of the alpine region. In this context, the EUSALP Energy Award 2026 is being awarded for the third time as part of the EU Strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP), with the aim of highlighting initiatives that successfully turn innovation and vision into concrete results.
The 2026 edition is held under the theme “Energy Transition in the Alps: From Innovation to Real Impact” and focuses on projects and initiatives that contribute concretely to the energy transition, both in the electricity and heating sectors. The award addresses initiatives that introduce innovative solutions in the following fields:
- Technological innovation
- Organisational, social and regulatory innovation
- Business model innovation
In addition, the EUSALP Energy Award 2026 offers awarded projects significant visibility at Alpine level through EUSALP communication channels, international media coverage and a dedicated promotional video, while also providing valuable networking opportunities.
The submission deadline is July 12, 2026. The award ceremony will take place on October 22, 2026, in Lindau as part of the 2026 EUSALP Annual Forum. The event is held under the patronage of the Bavarian EUSALP Presidency 2026.
