Europe Day and 35 Years of Interreg

On Europe Day on May 9th, a special anniversary was also celebrated: 35 years of Interreg!

For three and a half decades, Interreg has stood for cross-border cooperation and has fostered development in countless regions. On this occasion, we would like to share the inspiring video from the European Commission (DG REGIO) with you. It highlights the successes and the vital role of Interreg for Europe, at both local and international levels, over the past 35 years.
For Interreg Italy-Austria, this means, for example: finding local solutions to local problems, particularly through the CLLD approach; making our programme area more innovative and competitive; and promoting sustainability across various sectors.
We look forward to many more years of successful cooperation! We encourage you to share the DG REGIO video on your networks.
