Call: Interreg Central Europe

Interreg Central Europe is launching a strategic call for capitalization!

Do you want to take your successful project results to the next level? The Interreg Central Europe (CE) strategic call for capitalization offers an opportunity to expand the impact of your projects.

The latest call from Central Europe focuses on reducing the impact of borders by building on existing successes. The core idea is: Proven results, both from Interreg CE projects and cross-border projects, should be adopted and modified to achieve greater territorial or political impact (‘upstreaming’), or the results can be transferred to other territories and areas (‘downstreaming’). It’s about creating synergies through strategic projects, improving solutions, and opening new territories or sectors.

Selected projects will be recognized as ‘projects of strategic importance’. With approximately €23 million ERDF (up to €1 million ERDF per project), this is the opportunity to secure funding for ambitious initiatives, with a duration of 18-24 months.

Important requirement: Project proposals must integrate results from at least two Interreg CE projects (2021-27) and at least two cross-border Interreg projects (such as Interreg IT-AT, from 2014-20 or 2021-27).

The call will be open from September 29, 2025, until November 27, 2025.
