Call for “Border Regions Peer Exchange”
How can administrative, legal, or institutional obstacles in cross-border cooperation be successfully overcome? The new “Border Regions Peer Exchange” initiative offers the opportunity to learn directly from concrete solutions implemented in other border regions.
The programme is implemented by Fundación CEER on behalf of DG REGIO and in connection with the b-solutions initiative. The current call is addressed to all stakeholders in territorial cooperation, such as public administrations, universities and research centres, EGTCs and Euroregions, development agencies and chambers of commerce, as well as programme authorities.
The offer at a glance:
- 10 peer exchange visits: Between November 2026 and January 2027, two to three-day visits to successful practical cases will take place (up to 3 preferred visits can be indicated in the form).
- 100 places: A total of 100 participants will be selected.
- Financial support: 50 places will be supported with a lump sum of up to 750 euros to cover travel and accommodation costs.
Deadline for submission: 16 September 2026, 17:00 (CEST).
