“START Living Lab” Project Webinar on Data Management

The START Living Lab project organises a webinar on the topic of data management – image analysis for the search of missing persons.

The project promotes the use of semi-autonomous drones during emergency operations in extreme environments, starting with alpine territory. Attend the webinar and learn how image analysis software facilitates the work of alpine rescuers!

Mountain rescue experts Matteo Tabacchi (CNSAS Belluno) and Simon Niederbacher (BRD South Tyrol) will present the software solutions currently in use. This software can automatically identify colours, shapes and other characteristics in photographic material – a huge help for drone pilots who have to examine huge amounts of data.
