Stakeholder Meeting: FROST.INI
On the occasion of the project launch in March, you are cordially invited to the stakeholder meeting from April 3 to 4, 2025, at Castle Kaprun (Salzburg, Austria).
The Interreg project FROST.INI investigates the climate change-induced permafrost decline in the Italian-Austrian Alpine region and its consequences for the safety of high alpine infrastructures.
The aim of the event is to involve needs and decision-makers from the Italian-Austrian permafrost regions early in the project to best consider their concerns. The stakeholder meeting provides the opportunity to exchange ideas with leading permafrost experts, directly present your own needs, and thus significantly influence the design of project activities. The stakeholder meeting is organized as part of the VAO Symposium (Virtual Alpine Observatory). The symposium adopts the fundamental idea of the FROST.INI project by strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration between European alpine observatories, promoting cross-border exchange, and directly involving decision-makers.
