Gen Z and Museums

The thematic workshops of the project EMY aim to develop skills and practices related to Generation Z. They provide targeted support for museums and cultural organizations to engage young visitors, a group that many institutions have previously found difficult to reach.

The series comprises three appointments at Das Wundervoll – Coworking with the aim of providing both knowledge about Generation Z and ways to reach and communicate with this generation, which by definition includes those born between 1995 and 2010. Moreover, the programme highlights opportunities for building educational alliances with local businesses and helps museums, together with businesses, to reconsider their role in the community for the younger generation.

The programme was developed based on the needs identified during a series of interviews conducted as part of the EMY project in the summer of 2025 with museums and cultural organisations in the provinces of Pordenone, Treviso and Tyrol.
