Kick-Off Meeting: ATTENTION Project

Improving zero-waste processes in construction value chains. The adventure has begun!

The ATTENTION project, whose objective is to increase circular processes in the construction sector through the creation of a permanent cross-border network of HUBs providing circular services, was launched on April 9, 2024. The kick-off meeting took place in Treviso (IT) at the headquarters of t2i – trasferimento tecnologico e innovazione s.c. a r.l, Lead partner and organiser of the event.

Also present at the launch event were all project partners: Eurac Research, the Chamber of Commerce of Treviso – Belluno, the University of Innsbruck, KBF Kompetenzzentrum Bauforschung GmbH, and ANCE FVG, as well as the RCU Veneto contact person – Massimo Rigoni – who opened the discussions.

During the event – which took place over two days – the project partners participated in a “Capitalisation Workshop” aimed at collecting and capitalising on good circular economy practices useful in the implementation of the ATTENTION project, which was also attended by a representative of the Veneto Region’s innovation network “Venetian Green Building Cluster”.

The partnership also discussed and planned future activities foreseen in 2024 for the identification of the catalogue of circular services to offer to companies and for the organisational activities necessary for the creation and operation of the cross-border hub network.

At the end of the first working day, the official kick-off was celebrated with a social dinner.
