ATTENTION project meeting

The Interreg Italy-Austria project, which aims to improve zero-waste processes in the construction sector, is entering the operational phase!

On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, the ATTENTION project partners met in Bolzano to organize phase 3 of the project: the development of the ATTENTION app, the activation of services of the 5 project HUBs, and the planning of phase 4, where the partners will promote the project results in their respective HUBs. All partners attended the meeting in Bolzano: T2i Technology Transfer and Innovation, Eurac Research, Treviso-Belluno Chamber of Commerce, University of Innsbruck, ZAB ZukunftsAgenturBau, and ANCE Friuli Venezia Giulia.

During the event, the partners mainly discussed the Work Package 3 (WP3) and WP4, namely the actual implementation phases of the project.

Throughout WP3, currently underway, the partners are carrying out the activities for launching the 5 project HUBs. Each partner is organizing meetings with the companies of their HUB to involve them in the project’s pilot action: testing the services offered by the HUBs to companies and verifying their usefulness and effectiveness for SMEs in the construction sector, with the goal of supporting them in circular economy processes. In this regard, the various partners are also taking steps to promote the project in increasingly wider networks, involving important players in the construction and technological innovation sector in Austria and Italy. Two cross-border events are also planned to promote the project and provide technical assistance to the Italian and Austrian companies involved.

Subsequently, WP4 will be dedicated to disseminating the results and finalizing the HUB network and the ATTENTION services catalog. Specifically, the partners will organize a workshop for their respective HUBs aimed at regional authorities and other entities to discuss further developments that the project might have in the phases following its conclusion, with a view to consolidating and developing circular economy practices in the construction sector in regions such as Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, South Tyrol, Tyrol, and Salzburg.
