ATTENTION: Online-Meeting
On October 6, 2025, the first online meeting of the ATTENTION project took place, bringing together Italian and Austrian companies.
The event introduced the innovative services of the 5 ATTENTION HUBs, which aim to promote the circular economy in the construction sector. The goal is clear: to boost companies’ competitiveness by offering them concrete services to improve their practices and circularity tools. This will ensure higher competitiveness within the European context and contribute to a more sustainable sector economy in the long term.
All project partners, including Eurac Research, the Chamber of Commerce of Treviso – Belluno, the University of Innsbruck, ZAB Zukunftsagentur Bau, and ANCE FVG, participated in the event. Following an introduction to the partnership and the ATTENTION project, the Lead Partner T2i Trasferimento Tecnologico & Innovazione presented the concept of a circular model in construction and emphasized the importance of circular processes in the industry. Evelyn Oberleiter from Terra Institute then explained the philosophy of the circular economy and the sustainability goals of the EU and the United Nations, positioning ATTENTION as a showcase project.
Martin Hauer from the University of Innsbruck introduced the Circular Construction HUB (CCH), its APP, and the services offered by the 5 regional HUBs – in South Tyrol, Tyrol, Salzburg, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, and Veneto – which provide diverse support. This includes consulting on circular economy and sustainability, courses on topics such as BIM (Building Information Modeling) and eco-friendly design, as well as assistance with certifications and the development of new, sustainable business models in the construction sector. A particular focus was placed on the multilingual CirMat platform and its app, serving as key tools for cross-border networking.
The event received positive feedback and saw the participation of companies that will be involved in the testing phase of the HUBs as part of the project’s pilot action.
